This second issue of the first edition of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland was released in December 1865, but carries the date 1866. It was bound by The Chelsea Bindery in full red morocco and features a ribbed gilt decorated spine, gilt dentelles and edges, green endpapers, original covers and spine bound in at the back.
